Chapter Ten

Wes had leaped from bed, slipped on his shorts, and was at the door faster than Teegan could count to five.

As promised on his way out, he was gone a maximum of ten minutes. Just long enough for Teegan to revel in the pleasant afterglow of their first time together. Her body was languid and content, though not entirely satisfied. She hoped for another round or two before she would get her fill of Wes. He’d unlocked something inside of her—some hidden confidence she’d always hoped to possess, but never dared to reach for.

Wes came back into the room with a huge box of condoms, and the two of them were at it again.

He sat on one of the steps in the private wading pool on their huge balcony, submerged in the water up to his chest. Teegan straddled his lap, taking in the incredible feel of Wes inside of her, the salty air, and the warm breeze across her back and shoulders. Her arms were around his neck, though she didn’t have to hold tight. This round was much slower and softer than the first. Each slight move of his body against hers was born out of pure pleasure. Her senses were heightened. Her arousal more potent. It was almost too much. Everything seemed to escalate. Goose bumps erupted along her flesh, though it wasn’t because she was cold. It was the overwhelming feeling of bliss.

Wes splayed both hands on her ass, guiding her into the next slide. She willingly followed his lead, exalting each time his breathing changed as he inched back into her. She watched the grooves between his eyebrows deepen with concentration. A light sheen of sweat broke out along his forehead.

“How’s this?” he asked in a gentle voice.

“Perfect,” she responded.

Teegan brought his mouth to hers, where they kissed slow and deliberate. His tongue finding hers, and not forcing its way in as he’d done before. This time it was a timid touch, like he was asking permission, before he tilted his head and deepened.

It was something out of a dream. The stars glimmered overhead in the night sky, the soft sounds of people in the far-off distance, and faded light of the moon casting a blue glow across Wes’s face.

She’d never imagined it could be like this. So beautiful. So powerful.

Then Wes’s grip pressed into her skin, his pace starting to increase. He roughly pushed her against him, so she reciprocated by matching his intensity. He groaned, and his eyes squeezed shut. Euphoria overtook her. There was no better feeling than knowing she was causing his reaction. This hard man melted because of what she was doing to him.

Her body delighted in that knowledge, making her need for him amplify to epic proportions. They slid against one another at a more hurried pace, the water in the pool making little waves and causing some to cascade over the side. Their tongues stabbed at one another in desperate need. About the time Wes grunted, Teegan’s body started to come apart.
